Join Susan Miller to learn the Aramaic Beatitudes of Jesus. By the end of this eight-part class, participants will be able to recite and understand, in Aramaic, the eight Beatitudes of Jesus from His Sermon on the Mount.
Aramaic is the language that Jesus spoke when He walked the earth. Learning His words in His language can give us a deeper understanding of what He taught. Participants will also learn to sing the Beatitudes in lovely meditative melodies!
Thursday evenings, 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on August 6th and 27th, September 3rd and 24th, and October 1st, 22nd and 29th, and November 5th .
If you wish to begin studying the Aramaic Beatitudes in preparation for the workshop, we recommend the book, Prayers of the Cosmos, or the audiotape series, The Healing Breath: Body-based Meditations on the Aramaic Beatitudes.
