Rt. Rev. Cynthia Coate-Ray

Cynthia is an ordained priest and master teacher. She is a pioneer in the search for an egalitarian spirituality that honors both the masculine and feminine in a balanced expression of the spiritual work.

She sees religion and traditional forms of spirituality as no longer serving the real needs of humanity. Instead, she wants a simpler, more direct expression of Spirit, one with less baggage and that emphasizes equality and interconnectedness in a caring society.
